The Central Platte NRD Board of Directors is elected to protect and preserve a wide scope of natural resources within the district. There are 21 members, each serving a four-year term. The board consists of two directors in each of the 10 sub-districts and one at-large director. Directors in the same sub-district are elected in alternate election years.

Board Vacancies – Subdistrict 2 and Subdistrict 4
Letters of interest were accepted to fill board vacancies in Subdistrict 2 and Subdistrict 4.
Subdistrict 2 includes: portions of Western Buffalo County, Eastern and Central Dawson County; and includes the communities of Overton, Sumner, Miller, Amherst, Riverdale and a portion of Lexington and Cozad.
Subdistrict 4 includes: portion of East Central Buffalo County; including parts of Northeast Kearney and Northwest Hall County. The Board Nominating Committee will recommend individuals at the January board meeting. The two new members will be appointed.
